广州市第109中学   郑丽明 教学目标(teaching aims):1.     study the words in this lesson:2.     train the students’ reading skills and improve their ability of reading comprehension;let the students know more about the uses of computers in many fields: 教学重难点(main and difficlt points):1.     train the students’ reading skills such as skimming,scanning and critical reading; 2.  improve their ability of reading comprehension;  教学方法(teaching methods):1.     teaching the text as a whole;2.       高中英语课文“导•读•用”教学模式; 教具(teaching aids):a multimedia project 教学步骤(teaching procedures):1.     greetings.2.     revise the words in this lesson.show slide one. ask the students to the words twice each in chorus and then the teacher says these words in chinese and ask them to speak english, or conversely.3.     lead-in.in this unit we talk about  “life in the future”. what do you think of our life in the future will be?    will we have a bright future?is computer our basic need in the future? why?which of the following are basic needs? why?now let’s begin a new lesson “lesson 67 life in the future(2)”.4 reading (1) first reading : listen to the tape and answer the question.“what 3 things does the writer suggest?”(2) second reading: please read the text carefully and find out the main idea for each paragraph .(3) sum up. “what’s the general idea for the whole passage?”(4) third reading: watch the video and do multiple choices according to the text. 5        consolidation: (1)the writer had his opinion about energy, but let’s come to see some other people’s opinion about “how to save energy” on page 95exercise 3 .(2) retell the text (in four parts)6. discussion: with the help of the structure of “prediction and conjecture” to discuss any topic. 7.homework. finish off the workbook exercise and write a passage
