教师准备教材配套磁带。
教师准备语音部分的课件。

教师准备一幅画，画的内容为：图片的背景为活动中心的大门和房屋轮廓图，并写有children’s center的字样。中心内容为孩子们在儿童活动中心活动的情景，其中有的孩子在唱歌，有的孩子在跳舞，有的在打电子游戏，有的在打乒乓球，有的在画画，有的在弹钢琴。
四、教学过程：
1、warm up （热身）
活动一：口语练习
教学参考时间：1—2分钟
教师鼓励学生将所学内容编成对话，进行表演。参考内容如下：

活动三：单词接力
教学参考时间：1—2分钟
做单词接力游戏：教师说单词reading，之后，随意找学生，每个学生每次说一个字母。第一个学生说r，第二个学生说 e ，第三个学生说a ，依次完成单词的拼写。用此方法复习一、二课时的动词和动词短语。
活动四： 知识回顾
教学参考时间：3—4 分钟
词语复习：教师出示单词卡片，学生认读动词短语。
教师让学生打开书第47页，学生齐读let’s talk部分的语句。
两人一组分角色朗读对话。
教师找学生扮演对话中的人物，注意提示其他同学要认真倾听。此活动可请5—6组同学表演。
3、presentation （呈现新知）
活动五：师生交流
教学参考时间：7—8 分钟
教师根据学生朗读]let’s talk 部分的内容提问：what is chen jie doing? 学生回答：drawing pictures. 教师引导学生说：she is drawing pictures. 教师接着询问：what is amy doing? 学生回答： she is reading a book. 教师用此问答，引导学生表述他人在做什么的语句。
教师出示准备好的一幅画，并询问：what is she/he doing? 学生看图回答：he/she ’s singing/ dancing/ playing ping-pong/ drawing pictures/ playing the piano.
画的内容为：图片的背景为活动中心的大门和房屋轮廓图，并写有children’s center的字样。中心内容为孩子们在儿童活动中心活动的情景，其中有的孩子在唱歌，有的孩子在跳舞，有的在打电子游戏，有的在打乒乓球，有的在画画，有的在弹钢琴。
4—5人一组，让学生分小组，用 “what is she/he doing? he/she ’s….” 表述图上的内容。
鼓励学生向老师、向伙伴提问。提问内容可以是“询问某人在干什么”，更可以提问其它学过的句型，如：“ who is the girl/boy? how many people are there in the picture? what is this/that? what are these/those? where are they? … ”
教师指着图片的背景部分问：do you know where it is? where are the children? 自然引出“children’s center”，教师带读“children’s center”。
教师接着询问学生：do you want to go to the children’s center? 本句较长，教师分段带读，突破难点：
the children’s center
go to the children’s center
want to go to the children’s center
do you want to go to the children’s center?
活动六：读读写写
教学参考时间：4—5 分钟
教师说：now, zhang peng calls john.（教师此时做打电话的动作） what are they talking about? listen.
教师播放read and write 的录音，要求学生认真听。
听过之后，教师问：what is john doing? what is zhang peng doing? 学生回答：john’s doing the dishes. zhang peng is talking.
再次播放，学生跟读。
教师向学生出示本部分的挂图，对this is zhang peng 的用法作必要解释。告诉学生打电话时若想告诉对方自己是谁，不能说：i am…. 而应该说：this is / it’s …. 教师对其它重难点句子的阅读也要做必要解释，如：i am talking to you. do you want to go to the children’s center?
鼓励学生看书上的图案，试读对话。
完成教材中第48页 answer the questions的活动。

两人一组，随意将人名与动词短语的-ing形式一一连线，然后根据各自的连线情况进行问答。
活动六：猜一猜

教师拿出let’s talk部分的挂图，但要将四幅图分别用四张白纸遮盖好，问学生：what is she doing? ，学生猜对一个，教师就把这张图上的纸拿掉，直到学生全部猜出为止。

教师指着动词卡片说：i can draw a fish. now, i am drawing a fish. 边说边在黑板上画鱼，并强调i am drawing a fish now. 用彩色粉笔强调ing 。鼓励学生做画画的动作，边做边说i am drawing a fish/a cat/an apple/….
教师出示洗碗的动作卡片，学生听发音后，教师说：i am doing the dishes. 此时可作为扩展知识，告诉学生洗碗有两种表达方法，即i am doing the dishes. 或 i am washing dishes.
继续播放课件。用相同的方法让学生理解、认读：drawing pictures, cooking dinner, reading a book, answering the phone 。教师注意学生动词ing 形式的读音，必要时多练习几遍，并纠正学生的发音。

教师带领学生做快速反应的游戏。教师说本部分的动词短语，如：do the dishes, 让学生说出它的ing 形式：doing the dishes 。
教师把本部分的五张动作的卡片面朝上贴在黑板、窗户、门、墙等地方，然后说一张卡片上的短语，如：answering the phone ，学生迅速地指向该图片，指得又快又准确的学生为胜者。教师还可以用卡片的字母一面进行游戏。
两个游戏中，教师注意适时纠正学生的发音，巩固动词短语的同时纠正发音。
活动五：接力问答
教学参考时间：2—3分钟

教师指导学生理解题目要求，指导操作方法.。listen and match是按所听内容连线，listen and write 是按录音内容填写空缺单词。

再次播放活动手册第33页的录音，学生完成listen and write 部分的练习。此环节，教师注意辅导学生规范书写。

注意句子操练时频度副词的用法，我在备课的过程中没有考虑到sometimes and usually可以放在句子的头上和句子的中间，这点应该和学生解释清楚。

教师播放read and write部分的录音，学生认真听，之后凭借记忆复述听到的句子或词语。

教师问一名学生：how are you? ，学生作答后教师板书：how are you doing today? how are you? how are you doing? 用手势和动作告诉学生三个句子意思相同，并划个大括号，最后，板书 just fine. 。教师在用三种方法向学生提问：“how are you doing today? how are you? how are you doing?”引导学生回答：just fine. 。教师板书everybody 并带读，教师问一名学生：how’s everybody doing? 提示everybody一词的含义，引导学生理解，并作答。

教学反思：
本课时的学习重点是一个句型和五个短语。短语的读音有点困难，所以要用各种办法让学生自愿张开嘴巴读。我用小组比赛的形势，用剪刀石头布的游戏，赢的人有权利考输的人，用了8分钟时间，学生基本掌握了要学的句型。

（1） 教师将jump, walk, fly三个词写在黑板上，然后手指相应的单词发指令，如：jump like a rabbit. walk like an elephant. fly like a bird.学生边跟读边做相应的动作。
（2） 教师继续发指令，学生做动作，适时提问：what are you doing?，引导学生回答：i’m (jumping) (like a rabbit).。教师在黑板上的jump后面加上ing，呈现新词：jumping。同法引入walking和flying。

让学生看图回答：why is the rabbit jumping? what animal is after the rabbit?引导学生回答：a tiger. 教师再问：what is the tiger doing? 引导学生回答：it’s running. the tiger is running.教师板书：running。
教师指着正在水里游的鱼，问：what is the fish doing?引导学生回答：it’s swimming.教师板书：swimming.
教师播放课件中的对话，让学生重复句子。
让学生看板书，读出单词。教师手指running, 问：how many “n” s are there in this word?引导学生回答。用同样的方法提示学生swimming中的字母m也要双写。
让学生拼读单词。running, r-u-n-n-i-n-g, running.
活动四：说歌谣
教学参考时间：5分钟
教师出示图片，让学生听let’s chant部分录音2-3遍，以小组为单位将图片按听到的顺序摆好。
教师让学生通过图片理解单词leaping, fighting, biting, climbing, snoring的中文意思。教师给学生解释never boring的中文意思。
听录音，跟说歌谣并表演。

教学反思：
一节课学习12个比较难的单词对于没有接触过这些单词的学生来说有些困难。因此我让学生通过眼，耳，口，手等多角度的训练，牢固掌握所学的单词。用chant来复习单词，提高英语学习的兴趣。
