一、说教材:
本单元围绕“寻找物品”这一话题展开教学,同时给学生介绍了动词be的过去式was,were。本单元安排的教学情景与学生的生活贴近。从运动会入手,引出寻找物品这一话题,语言的交际性和实用性较强。本单元用6课时完成教学。我说的这一课是第一课时。以前我们已经学习了句型:where’s your…?it’s on/in/near/behind/under…这一课时的内容主要是呈现单词:was, a moment, ago, , a mobile phone, a pair of glasses,a cd walkman, a roll of film, earphone, diary。在句型:where’s your…?it’s on/in/near/behind/under…的基础上引出新句型:it isn’t there now. it was there a moment.
教学内容:b. look,read and learn & c. ask and answer
教学目标:教学目标是教学活动的出发点和归宿,根据新课程标准以及大纲要求,结合以上分析,我确定本课的教学目标如下:
1.能正确地听、说、读、写词汇was, a moment, ago, , a mobile phone, a pair of glasses。
2.能正确地听、说、读词汇 a cd walkman, a roll of film, earphone, diary。
3.能正确地听、说、读句型 where’s your…?it’s on/in/near/behind/under… it isn’t there now. it was there a moment.
4.能正确根据图片提供的情景进行描述。
教学重点和难点: 引导学生正确理解 be动词的过去式,并会用相关句型表达和谈论。
课前准备:
1 教具准备 a 有关单词的实物。 b 多媒体课件。 c 录音机和磁带。
2 板书准备: 预先写好课题 unit 3 it was there!
二、说教法、学法:“兴趣是最好的老师”。因此,英语教学一开始,就应当注意培养学生对这门学科的兴趣。这就要求我们教师采用灵活多样的教学法,激发学生的学习兴趣,充分调动他们学习的积极性,使学生乐于用英语进行交流的习惯。所以,我采用情景法、交际法、多媒体辅助教学法等进行教学。
(1)情景法:强调语言在情景中的运用,让学生身临其境地学习英语,学生容易学到知识与运用知识。(2)交际法:学习英语,目的在于用英语进行交际。在教学中,我设计了生活化的情景,不仅活跃了课堂气氛,有培养了学生的语言交际能力。
(3)多媒体辅助教学法:多媒体辅助教学法集图象、声音、文字于一体,使教学内容更生动、形象,吸引学生的小、注意力,使其在轻松、愉快的氛围中接受新的知识。
三、教学过程

1.t: today we’ll learn a new unit---- unit 3 it was there! first let me show you a photo of a girl. who can you see in the photo?
s: she is lu yuning.
t: yes. she was nine four years ago. now she is thirteen.根据这个女孩的年龄变化呈现:was, ago . (板书并领读,学生拼读)
(设计思路:陆宇宁是本班学生,学生会觉得很熟悉,有一种亲近感,从而产生较强的求知欲,由她的照片引出was和ago,学生会理解得更快、更牢。)
t: today nancy is visiting su hai and su yang. su hai is showing her things to nancy at home. what’s in their room? let’s wait and see.
2.逐一呈现 b 部分的单词。

t: what’s this in english? please listen to the tape and imitate it.引出单词mobile phone.(领读,学生拼读)

b.用同样的方法教授单词a cd walkman, a roll of film, earphone, diary, a pair of glasses.
(设计思路:由多媒体呈现单词和句子,清晰、简单、明了。由单词引出句子,在句子中学单词,这体现了新课程标准的理念:句不离词,词不离句。)

4 .look and guess what it is. 分别出示六种物品,但只能看到部分,要求猜出是什么。
(设计思路:帮助学生复习巩固所学单词和句子。)
c.以变魔术的方式呈现:it isn’t there now. it was there a moment ago.
用实物操练,如:(把 mobile phone放在桌上)
t: can you see a mobile phone?
ss: yes, i can.
t: where is the mobile phone?
ss: it’s on the desk.
t: close your eyes, please. (将东西移走) look, it isn’t there now.
ss:(引导学生说出)it was there a moment ago. 变换实物和位置进行师生、生生操练。
引出单词 moment , a moment ago 和句型it isn’t there now. it was there a moment ago.(板书并领读)
(设计思路:课堂侧重谚语活动,即以对话为主,体现英语教学为培养学生交际而运用语言能力的思想。)

教师示范两例后,学生同桌表演对话。
(练习是学生运用所学语言表达实际的一种训练。在这一教学环节中,教师应逐渐减少对学生的控制,让学生试着独立操作语言。)

3 .magic eyes 多媒体展示一幅图,学生观察十秒钟后图片变化,图中物品位置发生改变。
t: where was… a moment ago? s: it was … 师生用以上句型问答。
4 .find out the differences between the two pictures. 将前一活动的两幅图同时呈现,要求学生仿照下列句子来描述不同: the lamp was on the desk a moment ago. the lamp is on the floor now.学生小组讨论后回答。
(设计思路:英语本身是一种实践性很强的语言。课堂教学中要竭力为学生提供真实或逼真的言语交际情景,让学生发挥主动性、创造性。学生在活动中通过思考、交流、合作等方式,学习和使用语言,完成学习任务。而且,在交际和角色表演的活动中,由于学生有了极大的自我支配权,教师的权威性被淡化。最终提高学生实际语言运用能力,发展用英语解决实际问题。)
