本节课重点学习现在进行时的用法。本课中，我始终遵循语言教学规律，让学生在真实的语言实践活动中，通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式，实现任务目标，发展了学生的语言运用能力，让学生感受了成功。具体体现在以下几个方面：
一、词汇教学，体现了语言的整体教学理念。
词汇教学不是孤立的教学环节，我们在教学每个词汇时，更不能脱离语境而孤立的教学，而要遵循词不离句，句不离文的教学原则。教师要有意识地让新授词汇联系起来，置于学生熟悉的语言环境中，这样有助于学生更好地理解和记忆新词汇。由于本课新授词汇较多，我没有孤立地一个个地创设情景，而是把 stand、sit与上课，walk、run、jump与操场, sweep the floor、clean the windows、wash clothes与做家务联系起来，仅创设了三个学生熟悉的真实情景，化零为整，从而减少了诸多语言情景的干扰，便于学生容易理解和记忆，很好地体现了整体语言教学理念。另外在新授词汇时，教师如能将互不相通的单词赋予一定意义上的整体性，教学效果将会更佳。
二、语言训练，遵循了趣味性、活动化、多样性的教学原则。
在新知呈现之后，教师如果一味地采取反复朗读、背诵等机械性的训练方式，这样不但课堂教学收效甚微，而且学生学习英语的积极性将会大大降低。因此，教师应充分考虑到语言训练的趣味性和多样性，通过表演、唱歌、游戏、竞赛、猜谜和画画等小学生容易接受的活动形式，让学生在丰富多彩的语言训练活动中掌握新的语言项目，从而进一步来激发学生参与学习的欲望，让他们享受成功后的喜悦。在本课教学中，我多次利用chant、儿歌、游戏等学生喜闻乐见的活动形式，让学生在动中乐、乐中学、学中用，活跃了课堂气氛，扎实有效地掌握了语言知识。
当然，在本课教学中，我也发现了一些不尽人意之处，有待在今后教学中进一步地调整与改进。如：整堂课，由于我过多地注重了利用语言情景的创设、语言训练多样化、培养学生的听、说、读的能力，而忽视了对学生写的能力的培养。因此，在巩固环节中，如能让同桌讨论后把结果写下来，这样不仅能提高学生的英语书写能力，还能进一步地促进学生听、说、读能力的提高，从而进一步培养学生的语言综合运用能力。
